Yoga for Newbies

During this 4 week course, Beth will introduce you to the essential foundations of a healthy vinyasa yoga practice. At its core, Yoga is the practice of cultivating and refining ones attention through establishing an inward focus. You will be guided to connect in with how YOUR body is feeling, and learn the foundations of a Yoga practice that can be made relevant to YOUR needs. You will learn about healthy alignment and how you can tailor poses to meet your unique body, as well as how to move into poses with ease through synchronising movement with your breath. We’d love to have you join if you’re looking to:

Be introduced to the basics of a Yoga practice in a welcoming and safe environment.
Understand why we do what we do in Yoga, and the function of various poses and transitions.
Learn the foundations of Vinyasa Yoga and how it can be shaped to meet your needs.
Enhance your bodily awareness and strengthen your connection to breath and energy.
Deeply connect to your body, mind and emotions from an empowered and awakened inner space.
Get grounded in the confidence that your body communicates what it needs and Yoga asks you to pay attention to that.

The weekly sessions are 75 minutes and will be balanced with conversation, movement, relaxation and meditation. Nourishing snacks and tea will await you afterwards. You’ll leave feeling greater then ever, operating at a higher level of functioning, with a new capacity to awaken and transform not only your Yoga practice, but your reality.

Course material will be provided, we only ask that you come as you are, with openness. Warmer layers are recommended for relaxation, as well as paper/pen for your insights.
